You know those thoughts you have once in a while that make you pause for a second and say “hmm”?

Sometimes they’re incredibly silly. Like:

if aliens abducted a penguin by mistake, they’d file the entire planet under “flightless and judgmental.”

Sometimes they seem downright revolutionary. Like:

is most of what we call “personality” just a bundle of habits we never bothered to question?

Yeah, those types of thoughts. Those “hmms” are the entire reason this site exists. Because usually, we have those thoughts, we file them away in the back of our minds, and we never think about them again.

But those “hmms” are some of the most powerful thoughts we have. That’s where some of life’s greatest mysteries can be found. Where some of the funniest elements of the human condition are exposed. And where some of the greatest innovations are born.

Burredbrain exists because thoughts deserve better. Don’t let them fly away. Let them stick. Give them the exploration they deserve. That’s what we’re here to do.
